We're very excited to be showing our art to you, hope you enjoy it, hopefully even buy it. We've had great pleasure in creating it.
Who are the Acorn Artists? We're six people who live, work and play in a very beautiful part of Australia, Victoria's High Country. We are artists, but we have an added challenge. We have Autism Spectrum Disorder.
We draw our inspiration from our lives, our surroundings and the people and places we know and dream of. Each of us has a unique and distinctive style. We have been encouraged and taught by several local artists in art classes and privately for many years. We have been successful showing and selling our work locally, as well as at the National Gallery of Victoria and Benalla Regional Art Gallery. Work by Acorn Artists hangs in Wangaratta, Sydney, Canberra, San Francisco and at least one stately home in Victoria.
